Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, and Copyright Notice for the ISC2 West Region Collaboration Portal

Code of Conduct

1. Our Commitment

The ISC2 West Region Collaboration Portal is a professional community space for cybersecurity chapter leaders. We are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and productive environment for all members.

2. Expected Behavior

All Portal members are expected to:

  • Communicate professionally and respectfully at all times
  • Share information that is accurate, relevant, and beneficial to the community
  • Credit original sources when sharing content, resources, or materials
  • Respect the privacy of other members — do not share contact information outside the Portal without permission
  • Use the Portal for its intended purpose: regional collaboration, resource sharing, and community building
  • Represent your chapter and ISC2 accurately and honestly

3. Unacceptable Behavior

The following are not tolerated:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful communication of any kind
  • Spam, unsolicited promotions, or commercial solicitation unrelated to ISC2 chapter activities
  • Sharing false, misleading, or defamatory information about individuals, chapters, or organizations
  • Unauthorized sharing of members' contact information or Portal content outside the community
  • Any activity that violates ISC2's Code of Ethics or professional standards

4. ISC2 Code of Ethics

All Portal members are expected to uphold the ISC2 Code of Ethics, which requires acting honorably, honestly, justly, responsibly, and legally while protecting society, the common good, and the infrastructure of the internet.

5. Reporting Violations

If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to ken@surepath360.com. All reports will be reviewed promptly and handled with discretion.

6. Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, suspension of Portal access, or permanent removal from the community, at the discretion of the CRMC administration.
